No matter where you are. You can look up and find the Heavenly Father wanting to hear what you have to say. He gave you a voice to communicate what is in your heart. We sometimes tend to share our heart more with our spouse or our close friends. We can confide and put your trust in others; however, none can love and comfort you like Jesus.
God is love and He wants to comfort you in every way that you need.
Open yourself to hearing and receiving God’s direction for your life. It is not always audible but God has a way of communicating with you through people, circumstances, and random things you don’t usually pay attention throughout the day. Our children are looking up to us for love and guidance. We want them to be able to come to us when they need help. And for no reason at all, we want to love them just because of who they are. Likewise, God wants to help us and more than we realize!
So next time you want to react or share something with that close friend, look up and go to God first.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by pray and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. -Phillipians 4:6-7. The life of a mom is full of moments where we can look up and pray. Doesn’t have to be long. One of the most powerful prayers I’ve prayed are, “Help me Jesus”!
When we pray, we exchange our anxiety for His peace.
Look up even when you don’t feel like it. Look up even when you dont’ understand. Look up because your peace depends on it.
